[livejournal.com profile] jameth has a magic camera

Woofy, originally uploaded by Omega it's jameth.

This and the "for dummies" picture yesterday are the first pictures of me in a while that I haven't hated. It must also have hypnotic powers, because [livejournal.com profile] badrobot68 usually takes his glasses off for photos.

Circle Breakfast

Clockwise from left:
- Half a bagel with Vegemite and muenster
- Half a bagel with Vegemite and peanut butter
- Coffee
- Two eggs, microwaved in a bowl misted with olive oil

When I was in Vancouver I kept seeing a sign for a breakfast special at 7-11 or somewhere like it. It was for a "square meal" which included coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a SQUARE BAGEL (emphasis theirs). I kept wondering why, if they haven't eaten 50 of my circle breakfasts, would it be such a big deal that the bagel is a different shape?

Breakfast experiment

I'm going to bed soon, but when I wake up I intend to revolutionize the world of non-cooking. I've had great success making fluffy, delicious eggs in the microwave using a bowl and some olive oil. Tomorrow morning I'm going to use a plate instead, thus creating an omelette. I'd pair it with some frozen potatoes I have in the fridge, but it would be really dumb to fry up potatoes in a pan and then not use the same pan for the eggs. Wish me luck!
