Huh

I can't remember much of my dream this morning, except that it was weird and disturbing. I do remember that there was a commercial for women't lingirie. It was kinda a cross between a teddy and a bustier. I don't know enough about the stuff to say what I was seeing. But one of the features they said it had was that it had an open crotch, "in case you like to masturbate together." They showed a couple in bed together and I kept thinking, why don't they just have sex?

It was weird, but I do think "In case you like to masturbate together" is a good slogan.

No manscaping for me

I used a power converter in the kitchen and plugged my clippers in. They turned on, but they were LOUD as hell. I guess even with the converter it's too much power? I'll just have to be bushy.

Ink and steel

I found a piercing and tattoo shop in one of the malls yesterday. I kinda wanted to get my nipples pierced, or some work on my left forearm, but I decided it was probably a bad idea. If I can't drink the water here, I probably shouldn't wash fresh piercings or tattoos in it either.

Speaking of videos

They're playing a bunch of Destiny's Child videos on VH1, which reminded me how much I like the video for "Say My Name". I really love the coordinated sets and costumes, the simple choreography, and the way it all mixes toward the end. I was going to post it, but while searching I discovered this nice mash-up:

Videos with moving set pieces win my approval easily. So does voguing.

Today

Today was nice, hanging out in the apartment, even though I discovered that the laundry service burned a hole in my shorts.



Now I look like I smoke.

I also managed to make a video of all the lights coming on in the building across the street after a power outage.
