Good morning
I really like sleeping by a window again. I always did until April of 2004
when I moved into this building and started using the murphy bed. The air
over here is fresher and cooler. It was weird that my first morning by the
window ended up being the morning of the fire.

I noticed this handsome little guy working on his web just outside my window while I was doing my physical therapy. I'm happy to have him there, because on the seventh floor, we see way too many flying insects, and not enough spiders to catch and eat them.
I just wish he was here a few weeks ago to eat all the stupid flies that were buzzing around in their annoying boxy patterns all day. Stupid flies.
There have been sirens blaring pretty regularly all morning. People need to be more careful.

A minor dream

Toasted bread, medium cheddar, meatloaf, fresh mint, romaine, bacon salt, and mayo. Those are gorgonzola crackers in the middle.
