Surprise party is ruined because someone shows up who is not the intended surprisee and everyone talks to that person and doesn't notice when the inteneded surprisee shows up. Usually they will say something and the person who organized the party will flip around and yell "Surprise!" alone.

Surprise party is ruined because because the intended surprisee says something embarrassing before everyone jumps out or is naked when they do.

Person who is hanging out with a friend at an audition is asked to audition and gets the part the friend wanted.
