My, how times have changed

I remember some time in the '90s seeing Aerosmith (I think) in a room with several guys at computers taking questions from viewers in chats, asking them, and typing back their responses. 

Now tons of celebrities talk to their fans on twitter using their cell phones.

I don't have a point, really. Just the image of setting up a room full of computers for a televised online Q&A cracks me up.
