A new form of entertainment

I have to believe that if Rebecca Black thew a concert, there would be far more people there to see a trainwreck than tween fans who are actually there to have fun fun fun on a Friday (the day after Thursday). And maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing. It could end up being a fun, dorky show, but the question is, would she do it? Is she already, after a week or so, able to see that she is an anti-icon? Is it even possible to run with that?

I think the internet has made it possible for someone to skip way ahead in a typical career arc. It took two decades for Corey Feldman to have a highly successful movie career before he started making cheesy ones, then music, then reality shows. Why bother with a respectable career when you missed the mark so far on your first attempt? My guess is that Antoine Dodson will end up with as much money as Tina Yothers, and I think if Rebecca Black plays her cards right, she'll get a lot more than a Tosh.0 Web Redemption.
