Work worked out nicely
It wasn't a surprise to find a flurry of plants and flowers arriving at Bev's place and at the memorial service yesterday, but I wasn't expecting anything to show up at our house. But I got an email notification from UPS right after we left the house, and when I finally remembered to check this porch this morning, found a really wonderful surprise.
Denny's ceremony was beautiful and I'm very grateful to have been there and to be part of my wonderful family. And I hope this is the last job I ever have because I imagine it could only be downhill from here. Which isn't to say I wouldn't love to retire! But as long as I have to work, I'm really glad I landed where I did.
