Let the sun shine in, greet it with a grin
I gave away sunglasses during my class during our recent community campaign, each with a slip inside that had the shortened URL for my personal fundraising page. That was a little premature on my part since the mornings weren't sunny yet, so I decided to give some more away just because. I knew today would be a great day to do it and decided to teach this morning despite having a bit of a cold. I'm glad I did, the heat and the exercise felt fantastic. Not everyone who came to class today wanted a pair, whether it's because they brought their own or because they wear prescription glasses. Here's a picture of most of the class, but as is always the case, some opted to be out of frame while I took it.
It was a fantastic class. One person was new and had a great time. Another followed me over from a different branch and enjoyed it much more than where I normally see her. And a lot of people sang along along when I started the cooldown with "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver.
