I had my nipples pierced with 8ga needles and immediately stretched to 6ga back in November. The goal was to get the 4ga titanium rings I used to wear back in them. The left side (my left, not left as you face me) was doing really well, but the right side was pretty angry with me. It's almost twice as wide as the other nipple, and the diameter of the ring wasn't sufficient. It even migrated down a bit.
I took the old 4ga rings to my piercer today and asked if he thought it'd be ok to go ahead and them in and he saw no problem with it. It didn't hurt too much, and I think it'll actually help a lot. The angry nipple will have a bigger section of metal to heal on, and the rings are made of titanium, which is more body-friendly.
If you see me, ask me to show them to you!
