Garrett and I recently met up with my brother and his wife, my nephew and his girlfriend, and my niece and her husband, so we could share memories about Dad. My brother had a big box of family photos my sister sent while she was going through Dad's things, and I volunteered to scan them. I did a bunch yesterday and today, and still have a lot to go, but my family photos album has already gotten a lot bigger. One of the highlights today was noticing a familiar photo in the background of another photo.

I wondered why it's so novel to see an old photo in another old photo, I guess it's because they were mostly in albums. Such a fun find.
