It played on cable a lot in the '80s. It was about an artist who set up a hotline where people could call and confess things. She set up an art installation where you would walk through what was sort of a hallway made of giant scithe looking things, but they were more ornate. Kinda like what might stick out of a crystal ball in Phantasm. Anyway, you'd hear the recorded confessions while walking through.

Anyway I think somebody calls in and confesses murders, and then comes after the artist. Or something.
