I found an iMac in the laundry room tonight, originally uploaded by christopher575.

The monitor doesn't work. I'm pissed because building rules state that only
stuff which works should be left there.

From the looks of it, I'd say it's an iMac G3/400 DV SE. Not really fast enough to run anything more than OS 9.2.2, or *maybe* OSX 10.2 if it had a ton of RAM. Looks like you'll have to wait in the getamac quest.

Seems like monitors are a dime a dozen. I see them all the time on Freecycle.

Maybe, but there's really no reason to. The only reason I grabbed it was because it might have been fun to have it as an all-in-one unit to play with.
