One time when I was a kid, I had a minor existential crisis and decided the best thing to do would be to stare in the bathroom mirror and scream. I thought I was home alone at the time, so I was extremely embarrassed when my someone in my family (I can't remember who) was in the other room when I walked through and asked what all the screaming was about.

It made me feel like a weirdo for years.

But something escaped me until today. Why didn't whoever that was come investigate? Weirdos.

You are far less weird than the childhood friend of mine who thought it would be a great idea to slam his dick in a bathroom drawer, on the seriously-flawed theory that it would feel like a blow job.

one time when i was about 10 or 11 i kept knocking things over in the kitchen or something like that, and i got really irritated and decided to just let loose because i thought i was home alone. i started screaming a huge cuss storm, something like "MOTHERFUCKING SHIT GODDAMNIT FUCKING A" etc etc. a few mins later my dad comes in and is like "...nicole. what is going on?? are you okay?? i can hear you all the way out in the garage."

keep in mind that my family is pretty conservative and I have never heard my dad swear, and even at this age i very very rarely swear in front of my mom, and never my dad.

I remember being mad, and lying on my bed singing to .. something... maybe NIN but listening on my headphones only to have my grandmother come to the door to ask me if I was alright... I felt like such a moron... I think for some stupid reason I thought the closed door would hold back my singing/yelling... Duh.
