I'm eating a candy bar from the Italy goodie box that has alcohol in it. I hope it makes my hangover go away. If not, it's no big deal, for I'll have actual alcohol within a few hours.

Something about the trailer for Hostel II didn't sit right with me, and it took me a couple of months to figure it out. The whole thing's in German with subtitles, and at the end, the guy says "Hostel Teil Zwei." I remembered they don't say "hostel" in German, they say "Herberge."

I always pictured hostels to be filled with sexy european types having non-stop underwear parties.

I really wanted a nap this afternoon, but it's just not in the cards. Maybe I can have a disco nap this evening. Although I can't even begin to count the times I meant to just have a disco nap and woke up right around closing time.

I think I will have to wait and see Hostel 2 when it comes out on dvd. I know better to get my panties in a bunch over the whole "violence toward women" thing, but, even so, I'm probably better off waiting until I can pause it or turn down the volume. *nodnod*

Your imaginings of hostels are entirely without basis in reality. Sorry to have to tell you. Even in Amsterdam. and most definitely in Germany.

I finally stayed in a hostel for the first time a few months ago. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of an underwear party. It's ok, though, the bar around the corner from me has them all the time.
