Awww, poor George the Cat. Seems like he lived a long time, though.
We have a cat in my apartment complex that does the same thing. His name is Jacks. He is a big, solid, clearly well-fed black cat that wanders around and lets you pet his belly. The management even lets him inside their office sometimes, and he'll just lay on the table begging people for tummy rubs. He sits on my balcony sometimes for hours, teasing my cats, who are inside, lol. He just stands there, cleaning himself, all cool and smooth, while my cats go insane. I think it's a hobby of his.
