the seats are normally covered in plastic? I wish ours were. Sometimes I had to perch on the edge b/c I just wasn't comfortable parking my butt in them.
For perspective, the seats on our buses have a little grommetted hole in the bottom, presumably for liquids to drain through.
This is a regional commuter bus. Way nicer than the metro ones. But the metro seats are still padded, they just have a plasticky surface instead of a cloth one with plastic up top.
