People go to bullfights to watch a bull be killed for fun. This practice may be falling out of favor, with 60 percent of Spaniards now saying they disapprove. However, I don't see any older polls cited.

Completely agree that they should probably stop this sport, but that bull also looks like Otis. And jumping into the stands is something he'd probably do. Not sure if he could gore someone with his tongue, though.

They take a bull to work, treat it like a person at a job, then get surprised, shocked, and dismayed when it shoots the place up like any human would in the same position.

It's hard for me to be sympathetic to people who were there specifically to see blood on the sand.

I didn't see much on this story on the news...but I sure hope that bull was able to mutilate, permanently disfigure, or kill at least a few people. This isn't as good as the bull that impaled that bullfighter's face a few months back though.
