Notice of non-availability

I am generally available to go out on a moment's notice, no questions asked. Unfortunately, there was a billing snafu with my ISP, and it got resolved yesterday, leaving me with enough money to buy some groceries. Probably only if I buy them today, though. Until the 19th, I'll probably be in the hole. Well, more in it than I was. And then money will be tight until time to pay rent. And then for two weeks after that. I'm basically going to be pretty broke for the next month. Netflix and ramen: it's a glamorous lifestyle.

Aw sad! I might be wrong, but I thought you and I had a connection on this. There was some TV show, on Comedy Central I think, that talked about the Wannabe video, and every time Scary Spice would do this one move, the commentator would say "Look! She has a fax machine in her stomach! She's faxing information back to the headquarters!" 'cuz it was like they were infiltrating the building, running through and stuff. I feel silly now, a reference lost. It was much funnier at the time :-)

Really? It would be worth checking out, though. I used to hang at the Dallas Eagle, and have been to a few others. The now closed Milwaukee Eagle is my favorite of the bunch, even beating NYC.

I just don't like how dark and cramped it is. It is hard to walk without rubbing up against someone icky. Except outside, and that is where everyone is smoking.
C575 likes it though. I go once in a while with him. But never on a fri/Sat night. I get claustrophobic in there.

Is Seattle a no smorking town? I'm not a smorker, so I quite enjoy that. I guess when they banned smorking in NYC bars they had a problem with people clogging up sidewalks and streets to smoke. Would be nice to go out for a few drinks and not come home smelling like an ashtray. With Milwaukee being as blue collar as it is, (most bars open @ 6 AM for the third shifters), EVERYONE smokes.

All of WA passed a smoking ban, so yeah, the bars are nice and clean now but the sidewalks outside are not!
