Every once in a while on the way home at night, our bus will pick up a big group of people fresh out of a bingo night somewhere down near Boeing Field. I can't stand these nights. There's one woman in particular who usually laughs loud and long with whichever bingo buddy she's next to about whatever she thinks is hilarious at the time. Remember in Star Trek: Generations when Data thinks everything is hilarious and laughs uncontrollably until he finally short-circuits? She's like that, but she never short-circuits. Except for the time when a woman at bingo yelled at her and she spent the entire bus ride repeating over and over that you can't yell at her because she's mentally handicapped and can't be told what to do. Mm hm.
Anyway, tonight when they got on, there were only single seats available so she couldn't sit with anyone she knew. She ended up in the seat in front of me, and I saw her glance at the guy next to her every once in a while, trying to figure out something she could talk to him about. I've gotten to know this type very well, because people who can never stop talking or sit still on the bus make me insane.
