It's Friday night!

A lot of people think I go out a lot. Many would be terribly surprised to know that right now I've got two long-overdue loads of laundry going downstairs, and I'll take two loads of recycling down with me when I go to dry them, and two more when I go to get my stuff and bring it back up. There's a lot more to do around here this weekend, but I don't want to get too much of it done tonight. The neighbor downstairs will appreciate that.

Tonight's the first time this week I've felt I could get anything done, probably because I slept 11 hours last night. I've still got some stuffiness, and my back still hates me, but neither is as bad as it was, say, three days ago.

I want this place and myself in top form for next weekend. Unfortunately, I'll miss frankenboot for the first time since I went to St. Louis, but it's for a good reason; cattycritic is coming, and we're going to Vancouver. It's only for a night, but it's her first time, and Vancouver is my favorite city. It'll be hard to resist the urge to just stay and sleep in their beautiful streets.
