Belching, excusing myself, and you

Earlier, at work, I let out what I thought was a pretty gnarly burp. I'm trying to get back into the habit of doing them either totally silent, or loud in an obvious way, because a little over a year ago, I started belching silently but blowing the air through my teeth. I think that it sounds weird when I do that, like I'm disagreeing with a voice inside my head or something. Anyway, I then had approximately the following conversation with [Poll #946278][Poll #946278]By the way, I think "belch" is one of the nastiest "polite" words our lovely language has to offer.
