Yesterday our phones started acting really weird. Lots of erratic ringing, dropped calls, people picking up ringing phones that would continue to ring with the handset lifted, etc. Also, one of our very important printers--the one that prints very, very important documents onto carbon forms--wouldn't print. A technician was here this morning and was able to quickly determine the cause.
Mice.
Mice are chewing through cords in the office. It happened once before;
nosmoking_'s mom's phone was out for a week because a mouse found a peanut M&M next to her phone cord and chewed through it trying to get at it. But apparently the problem is getting worse, and they're working their way through the cubicle walls munching whatever they can find.
How's your Friday?
