Big Tendon

The broth in this bowl of pho wasn't quite warm enough, but it was still pretty good. That may be the hugest piece of tendon I've ever had. It was like taking a big bite of a tendon sandwich with no bread.

[profile] patosa  loves pho almost as much as she loves having her picture taken. She's so cute.

After this we watched 4 episodes of Voyager and drank wine. I had an excellent time walking from her place to the bus stop drunkenly lip-synching to "Fergalicious." Twice. I normally don't lip-synch in public but there was nobody I wanted to impress out in Delridge. Someone did yell at me from a car but I couldn't make out what they said. Probably something about "tasty" not having an "e" in it.

I'm pretty happy in my current apartment building but I did see something that made me want to move:

Have you ever wanted to see me with a ponytail and a skirt, peeing into a teacup or at least pretending to? Today is your LUCKY DAY.

Click the photo above for the full set. These were taken on my birthday, but I'm not sure which year. Probably my 21st, because if I was 22 my head would be shaved. This isn't the longest my hair was, I chopped about half off before finally going all the way. I suspect that many pictures were taken by [profile] filarabit, because he was there but is only in one shot. Check out his fluffy ponytail.

The year before, I did something similar to this, only [profile] filarabit wasn't there that time. And it was at night. And they made me eat a cake that looked like a pile of dog poop with no hands. And a bug landed on it right before I bit into it. I've got some pictures from that night that I'll post another time.

A cop came along and asked what we were up to. I said we were artists working on a photo project and she said she didn't have a problem with it as long as we cleaned everything up and weren't drinking. You can get away with a lot by saying you're an artist.

Silly

[livejournal.com profile] badrobot68 liked this plastic silverware so much that he wanted me to take a picture of him with it, but not enough to buy it for $1.50. I have to go back and buy him a set.

That fallen-down, dried-out dead tree on the left? Been sitting there like that for months. The international district is weird that way.
