(no subject)

One of my favorite benefits at my new job is the flexible start time. I can show up any time between 7:00 and 9:00. It doesn't seem like such a big deal at first, but now that I walk to work and don't have to worry about traffic or a bus schedule, it's actually amazing. Yesterday, I couldn't sleep, so I started work at 8:15. Today, I could, so I didn't even get up until 7:00 and may start at 8:45 or 9:00. If I quit typing this and got in the shower right now, I could be at the office at 8:30.

This is rad.

My admiration for you hasn't died. I haven't forgotten how put down we are.

Tired

As well as things have been going for me, I've also hit a wall mentally this evening. I am truly exhausted and it hurts to think. I unexpectedly have the evening to myself, and while I wish my plans hadn't been abruptly canceled, I'm not complaining because this quiet evening will do me a lot of good.

Mad skillz

I just used the palm of my hand as a plunger and unclogged my kitchen sink. Amazing.
