Something is missing

This is the first morning since May that I've been by here and not seen the woman in the blue blanket.

"IS THAT A BOSE?"

The Friday before last, I was with several lovely people at The Elite, enjoying beverages and Trivial Pursuit cards. Unfortunately, we had one of those "that guy" types appear. He invaded our area and acted really creepy. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if he pulled out a gun or knife and went nuts on the place. Manray was pretty good at keeping the nutter butters types out, but I think The Elite will probably put up with them until people complain. Which I did.
Anyway, at one point he was sitting in a chair next to me, and saw one of those touch-screen gaming devices from the side. He looked at it, and asked, "Is that a Bose?!?!" It so obviously wasn't, that I had to adopt that into my library of sayings as quickly as possible. I'm just thankful that![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
alexjon actually remembered it and said it to me the next day, because if he hadn't, I would have probably forgotten it.
In honor of this strange night, I encourage all of you to ask if stuff is a Bose whenever possible. Especially when it obviously isn't.
