Mar. 7th, 2008 07:46 amIn my dream this morning, I was Juno, as played by Ellen Page, but not pregnant. Most of the time I could see her instead, but even then I was definitely supposed to be her. Dreams are weird that way.
Liberty Bell was a little older than she was in the movie; we went to the same school. There were a lot of really mean people at the school who hated us, but we heard a new girl was coming to school, and there was already a buzz surrounding her. She was somehow popular before even arriving. Our plan was to be the first to befriend her, that way all the people who were mean to us would have to stop.
(I'd just like to stop here and point out that this is the kind of thing that only happens in movies, and not in good movies like Juno.)
We finally spotted her in the performing arts center. At first, I thought she was talking to me, and we had a long conversation, but it turned out that she was on stage reading lines. Oops.
Here's where it gets a little weird. She was played by Joaquin Phoenix. Yup, Joaquin Phoenix with a really long, beautiful, curly, dark wig.
I can't really remember much else, because as I woke up I was so weirded out by seeing Joaquin Phoenix play a woman.
