The other day they did a fire alarm test at the Qwest building downtown. I grabbed my camera and ran to the window but it ended before I could record. Fire alarm tests are neat, especially at night.

Look very closely along the left hand side of the windows at the federal courthouse and you'll see some strobes from a test they did this morning.

I need to find out what time Two Union Square does their evening automatic lighting shutdown so I can get that on video. It's really cool.

I always have a bag of C+W Ultimate Petite Mixed Vegetables in my freezer. They are an easy way to make a meal a little bigger and tastier. Right now I'm eating a bagel with cream cheese, veggies, and salt. I've eaten several hundred just like it and never get tired of the flavor. One of my favorite things about this veggie mix is the way they spark and catch fire in the microwave.

The reason I thought to make a video today is that yesterday I got the biggest fireworks show I've seen so far. The sparks were easily three inches tall and they burned for a good ten seconds or so. I'll keep recording every once in a while to try to catch something like that.

Oh, but you took French, and it's based on a French word you know? Wrong. It's based on a Greek word.

At least you didn't pronounce it "may-may". I seriously would have spit in your face if you had.
