I took out one of my nipple piercings this morning. Six months of pain was enough to finally convince me that my body didn't want that one in, and was rejecting it. It had moved way down and wasn't showing any signs of stopping.

For those of you who haven't had a piercing reject, I tell you, it's truly a lovely experience. One side heals and pushes on the offending implant while the other stays raw, slowly dying off, peeling and oozing away. I saw lots of little areas dry out and come off, and the inside stayed raw and oozy the whole time.

The other one's doing great.

I forgot to go to the bagel shop on the way to the gym yesterday, so I'm eating Trader Joe's frozen vegan phad thai for breakfast. Not terrible like other instant phad thais, but still nowhere near as good as anything from a restaurant.

This is a clip I never thought I'd see. Bill O'Reilly (yes, that one) challenging a gay marriage opponent to come up with a real reason to oppose it. Obviously "because the bible sez" wasn't going to cut it, and he couldn't come up with another.

Also of note: O'Reilly didn't yell. Not even once.
