cattycritic inserted us into a Bollywood poster. We've talked about it for a long time. She did an amazing job.
I wonder if they'll ever post my comment
Oct. 24th, 2008 11:17 amI saw this post linked from the Weekly's RSS feed and had to laugh. I ended up leaving a comment, saying that the Hot Dog on a Stick has been closed for over a year and a half. I know this because I saw that it was gone and posted about it. The switcheroo occurred within the last couple of months? Hardly.
EDIT: My comment is there now.

More home-state awesomeness
Oct. 24th, 2008 01:15 pmI discovered a while back that New Mexico's new area code is 575. That's not enough to make me ever want to live there again, but if my life fell completely apart, and I had to go back, I could at least get a really cool phone number.
Yesterday I found out that there's a local band who has seen my hand on the Internet. They are called The Silent Ducks. I immediately wrote to them to make sure we were on the same page about what the term means, and I got an enthusiastic reply within minutes. Necro Strike never even answered me when I emailed them about their song "Silent Duck". Those jerks.
I hope The Silent Ducks become successful and famous, but in that cool Flaming Lips way instead of that douchey Color Me Badd way.
Quote of the day:
Jordan Archer- Silent Duck Security - "We ain't got the quack, but we got yo back"
