Mar. 30th, 2009 12:57 pmI love when things come full circle. Example:
cattycritic was here for the weekend. I'm glad she didn't have one of those clicky counter things like a doorman uses to know how many people are in da klub because she could have used it to count the number of times I gushed about my haircut. It's great, you see. The girl who did it cut it shorter than it's been in a long time, and it looks fantastic, even without product in my hair. I love it. And I say so. A lot.
Last night, we were at the Crescent for some much-needed karaoke. It was my first time singing since September and it was a lot of fun inflicting The Name Game on the unfortunate people who were there. Aaaaanyway, toward the end of the night, I saw a girl I recognized, but I couldn't place her. She saw me staring and said hi, so I asked where I knew her from. She said, "I cut your hair. Right?"
YES. I told her, "Oh my god, I love this haircut. Ask my friend here, I won't shut up about it." With that, I just felt so satisfied.
I know, I'm weird.
