I watched
Bird on a Wire last night for the first time. It seems like I should have seen it by now, but it definitely didn't get the kind of play on cable that Overboard did. It was interesting to see British Columbia used the way it was. Usually, Vancouver and Victoria are used as a fake Seattle, but in this one, Vancouver was Detroit, and Victoria was Racine. I guess the major giveaway the huge mountains surrounding the "Great Lakes Ferry".
It's nice to feel like a person again today. Thursday was a birthday happy hour, and Friday was a drunken karaoke party. Saturday, my friend Nancy and I stayed up all night at the Prodigy/Crystal Method show and then after hours at Noc Noc. We slept all day in the heat Sunday and then stayed out at Bus Stop doing more karaoke until 1:30am Monday. Yesterday I was a complete zombie, which made the hour-long livemeeting I ended up running at 3pm less than stellar.
Oh by the way, I did two songs at Bus Stop I've never done before.
We Built This City and
I Know What Boys Like. Both were big hits.
Even though I was totally exhausted when I got home, I still didn't fall asleep until about 11:00 last night.
Not that this is a very interesting update or anything, I just figured people may have wondered why I wasn't posting.
