A song: I assume the title is "Sweet Jane", as the chorus (and only bit I can remember) consists of "ohhh, sweet Jane...oh, sweet sweet Jane". It's very slow and mellow and kinda minimalist--just the standard guitar, bass, and drums. I've googled but it only turns up versions sung by men, and this song is by a woman. It sounds a lot like Sarah McLachlan, though it could be Lucinda Williams. The singer has a relatively low voice.

I honestly believe the poster never googled, because if you search "sweet jane" the top result is a video of what she's looking for. The third result is the Wikipedia entry, which lists all the known cover versions, providing more than enough information to figure it all out.

Sometimes I think people refuse to read signs and do research because they crave interaction and would rather look silly while getting easy answers to dumb questions than to not say anything to anyone at all. I swing to the opposite end, refusing to ask for help when I should, like when I can't find the Velveeta at QFC.

I'm probably going to have to quit following that community. Sometimes I've been able to help people figure things out, but it's overrun with posts like, "I remember there was a video that had a horse in it, it's driving me crazy, help!"

Unfortunately, this is not the hammer I'm hearing. They are jackhammering (jacking hammer?) somewhere close outside and I can't hear anything else.

Not that it's interesting or that I expect you to care, I was just being driven crazy by the noise and remembered that picture and wanted to post it.
