Back!

I was hoping to have my trip pictures uploaded by now, but I forgot that my phone's cord isn't a plain USB, so I can't use it to connect my camera here at my desk. Long story short, it was a great trip. We put 1,065 miles on our rental car, saw a lot of amazing things, had a great time with family, and caught up with wonderful old friends.

I started to read Twitter this morning, but realized that I have to stay off until I catch up on some TV tonight to avoid spoilers. 

And although we had a great time, it's so great to be back home. It was great to see Sam and Fred last night and sleep in my own bed. Funny, though, my dad happened to buy the same blanket/sheet set for his guest room that I use at home, so it was as close as it could be to my actual bed.

Pictures!

My coworker is working from home today, so I asked if I could log in using his laptop, and uploaded the pictures using its SD card reader. The full set of trip photos has 317 photos and a few videos. I tagged the photos which are from our specific destinations: Shidoni, Sandia Peak Tram, the Very Large Array, White Sands, the Space Museum, the UFO Museum, Carlsbad Caverns, and Guadalupe Mountains National Park.

Do be aware that I'm an "upload first, delete later" type, so there may be some bad pictures in there that I won't notice for a while. Here are some of my favorites from the trip:
