In one part of my dream this morning, I was hanging out at a bar or cafe that also doubled as the HQ for FunnyorDie or some such comedy website and an awesome idea for a video came to me. It was a TIME/LIFE music compilation commercial that was a collection of dubstep remixes of TV themes. But it would be presented as if that was the perfect way to enjoy the nostalgia, and with no irony whatsoever. (Maybe it could even star Valerie Bertinelli, or a bunch of stars could each try to jam out to their respective remixes. I just though of that.)

Anyway I told the guy in charge about it and he liked it and said he'd definitely produce it, and a guy waiting in line jumped over to hand me a card to say he'd do the music. Everything was falling into place. Then a bunch of other dumb stuff happened and I also woke up.

I felt like the idea was so good, when I woke up I had to go searching to make sure I didn't just dream about something I'd already seen. Couldn't find it, don't think I've seen it.

But I'm certainly not going to make it. Someone please steal this idea.

I just climbed up and it was scary as shit. Never again.

The part that goes through the grey area next to Interlaken Park is a
trail I've been curious about for a while now. I've seen a sign at the
top saying it's closed, but I found where it starts at the bottom and
saw no such warning. I guess what they're going for is a one-way,
uphill-only trail. And that's how it should be. It's steep, narrow,
muddy, winding, and scary as hell. I wanted to turn back but figured
it'd be really hard not to fall. Glad I've seen it once, but I'm never
going on it ever again.

I didn't notice that it never made it here.
