Cold weather walking hazard

Scary ice that goes all the way across the street. Luckily the grass to the left was nice and flat. The vegetation in some parts of this street is practically vertical.



The rewards for navigating these hazards are pretty great, though.



And, apropos of nothing, here's the sorry state of the vending machines at the local grocery store.
