One thing I forgot to mention in the post about Saturday's walk was that the day had a theme: people in the street. One couple walked in the road on the way to the beach.
I took a loop down to Howarth Park so I could see the progress over at the Lion House and found these joggers going the opposite way. I wouldn't have minded so much if they were all on the same side, but it felt weird to go through the middle. Like a field goal.
Don't worry, that's a screen grab from my dash cam footage. One thing it didn't catch was a cool surprise over at the Lion House. They've got the lions from the driveway! At least, I assume it's the same lions because their paws are all smashed up. The property is nowhere near as big so the lions are slightly out of scale, but they still look nice.
