The heat wave is over. For now.
Aug. 3rd, 2018 10:24 amWhat a treat it was to get to the marina yesterday and find a fully cloudy sky. Can't beat it.
I also love that it's dark out when I arrive again. Time lapses are a little better when they start that way. Especially when boats with lights go by.
I cut today's swim at the Y a little short because a very obnoxious couple joined me in the pool. It's not a water park, and even at a water park, that much splashing and yelling would have gotten on my nerves. In a basement pool first thing in the morning? Absolutely awful. And I had earbuds in. Admission was free on Fridays in July, so I'm sure they were taking advantage of that and will never be back again.
