Where'd the week go?

I don't think I mentioned that the first confirmed coronavirus case in the US was at the hospital here in Everett. What a distinction! As of Thursday non-essential businesses and gathering places are shut down, with an exception for restaurants that can do takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery. So other than the grocery store, the only other place I've been recently was a drive-up/drive-through burger joint that recently reopened after a remodel. Great timing on their part. It was for a Live in Everett post and I wanted the post content to be evergreen, so I only mentioned the recent closures in the social media copy for posts that'll link to it.

Work also finally got super busy again in a way it really hasn't before. Normally 2-3 developers work on the stuff I test, document, and support, but they're trying to get a lot of work done on a big new tool, so there are a bunch of people this time. So it's quiet quiet quiet and then all of a sudden a whole bunch of stuff comes at once. The nature of the beast, but this time the beast is real big. Glad I recently got a teammate.

Thankfully tomorrow morning's almost here. Been looking forward to a Sunday walk ever since the last one.

I went ahead and postponed Banh Meetup 3 all the way to September. I know it seems like a long way off, but summers are notoriously busy so July and August seemed like bad ideas, and June and before is too soon.
