Fourth tattoo in a month

Almost! My babies attacking man statue was Saturday, July 30. If July was a month that only had 30 days, that'd mean I got four tattoos in the span of the last days of July and August. Only one day off!

I've wanted a tattoo of a clear '90s phone pretty much ever since I scheduled the Garfield phone tattoo. It's perfect because Garfield's neighbors on my foot are clear '90s beverages: Zima, Clearly Canadian, Orbitz, Crystal Pepsi. I reached out to Nick Kennell who did the Zima bottle as well as the Garfield phone and he eagerly accepted!

I'm not sure how old his shop Unknown Tattoo is, but they recently moved, so it's a very new space. And it's really nice. By far my favorite thing about it was that it's deep in a basement. It was a hot day yesterday, up to 84 on my drive out there, so feeling the temperature drop as I went down the stairs was really great. Sure, there are no windows, but who needs windows when you're face down on a massage table in pain?
