One great thing about the ice storm

There was almost nobody at the store. I usually hate going there because there are almost always tons of people, and they all block the aisles by standing next to their carts or coming to a stop right in the middle of smaller passageways. Makes me insane.

As I walked over, I saw that there were almost no cars. Inside, it was great! There was only one register open, but the slightly longer wait there was totally worth it.

Around here an ice storm means EVERYONE runs out to the store and pick up bread and milk. Even if they don't drink milk or eat bread they still have to go out driving on the ice to get it. It must be written in some rule book someplace but darned if I can find it.
