Phew. "Call Me Maybe" is on Kidz Bop 23, I narrowly missed hearing it on the commercial.

It's weird to me how good the Mini-Pops were and how bad all this sounds. Yes, I still listen to the Mini-Pops.

i didn't realize that the Alex Clare is considered a dubstep song. I only know it from a commercial (HA! IE)

the kid doesn't seek the Kidz Bop and actually consider it blech. I'm almost disappointed (she's hardcore into Katy Perry tho :P). she's getting into a couple of Decemberists songs tho, fucking white kid.

You will see from other replies in this thread that people don't want to call it a dubstep song, but rather "dubstep inspired" or "dubstep house". I don't see the need for such a fine classification in this case.
