christopher575There's a small beach here called Pigeon Creek Beach that's currently only accessible via a half-mile trail next to the port shipping facility. There used to be another way in from the nearby neighborhood.
The railroad closed it off due to safety concerns. It'd definitely be a bummer to live nearby, since this has turned a one mile trip to the beach and back into three miles. The neighbors are understandably upset, but I thought the TEAR DOWN THIS FENCE flyer I saw at the park trail nearby was a bit much. It's inconvenient, but it's no Berlin Wall.
