I got out for a walk this morning for the first time a while. My back was stiff at first, but it eased up and I was still doing pretty well when I got home. Phew. Unfortunately, part of the trail I was on was closed.



Not really a big deal, though. You can see in the picture above that it runs right alongside a field, so I was able to just walk there. And I was able to see why the trail was closed.



You can see in the picture that a section of the trail was washed out, but I couldn't really capture how bad it is. There's a drop of a couple of feet, and what's left looks pretty iffy. I'm glad it happened there. A lot of other spots wouldn't have a handy way around like that.

That looks like a nasty patch of erosion. I don't suppose you would see that in the dark either which could be very dangerous.

Yup. Especially now that we're in DST, and with all the trees, it can be quite dark around there.
