New year, new ear

christopher575I wanted my little fish friend to have bubbles and Ben Lynch at Foundation Body Arts in Mukilteo really delivered with this daith, rook, and forward helix combo. We'll add a third identical ring in the helix when it's healed, but the barbell looks fantastic in the meantime.
I also finally got around to laying out my jewelry collection for a photo. A lot of it is brand new and it's really quite amazing how inexpensive it can be now. I don't get the cheap stuff when I work with Ben on new piercings, though.
The large pair just below center are what I'd like to one day have back in my nipples. I can wear one in the left, but it's a very lopsided look if I do. I got those in exchange for making a website for the piercing shop I used to go to in Albuquerque back in the early '90s. It was easily one of the first body piercing shop websites ever to exist! The owner's brother made those for me by hand out of titanium, so while they've got some heft to them, they're a lot lighter than steel ones would be.
