christopher575I mentioned in a post a while back that I couldn't find an article. It was an interview, and the writer asked the subject to describe himself. His answer?
"I'll try without sounding too, pompous."
It's my favorite one-sentence failure. Seriously? You have such a high opinion of yourself that you think if you describe yourself, you'll sound pompous? You're pompous!
Anyway, I couldn't find it the last time I searched, but in a flash of inspiration, I searched in gmail, which worked, because I'd emailed this same sentiment tocattycritic when I first came across it.
It's worth mentioning that there are two people to thank for getting me to actually post on here a lot. One isbadrobot68, because he pressured me to, and the other is cattycritic. I used to email her a shit-ton of links and stuff, and now I post them here instead.
