I'm not really feeling the black coffee thing. I can drink it, but it's not good. Life is too short to cut out simple joys like delicious morning coffee. Syrup and half-and-half will be obtained today.
I'm envisioning that last sentence with no comma, and I have to say that the though of a daily mocha jerk sounds awesome. Whatever a daily mocha jerk might be.
I agree. I'm not a big fan of black coffee. It has to have some sort of creamer and some sort of sweetener in it. If the creamer is sweetened, then even better.
Black coffee with chocolate milk = very strong mocha.
But yeah, why drink something you don't enjoy? The entire point of my morning coffee is that it's my treat in the morning. I get to work and savor it before i start dealing with the masses.
It's an acquired taste, and some black coffee is better than others. Most black coffee is blech these days. Places just don't clean their coffeepots, and yes, it matters.
