May. 29th, 2008 08:13 amI took out one of my nipple piercings this morning. Six months of pain was enough to finally convince me that my body didn't want that one in, and was rejecting it. It had moved way down and wasn't showing any signs of stopping.
For those of you who haven't had a piercing reject, I tell you, it's truly a lovely experience. One side heals and pushes on the offending implant while the other stays raw, slowly dying off, peeling and oozing away. I saw lots of little areas dry out and come off, and the inside stayed raw and oozy the whole time.
The other one's doing great.

Date: 2008-05-30 06:07 am (UTC)the only piercing my body rejected was a frenulum but I think it had more to do w/ stretching it too fast. :(
