if you WERE to buy a car someday, and you were not limited by budget, what would you get?

I'd want something small that could still have a lot of room inside. Like maybe even enough room to sleep or do the dirty in. The one that springs to mind is the PT Cruiser, but I saw this one the other day and totally loved it:

Two parter that I'm stealing from James Lipton, who stole it from some french dude: What sound or noise do you love? What sound or noise do you hate? (my guess is that it's the noise that says "people should really be more careful")

Well I definitely hate the sound of sirens, and all sounds associated with cars, especially car horns. Most sounds annoy me if they don't need to happen in the first place. I hate people standing next to each other seven floors down that I can hear even though I'm inside, in bed, with a movie playing.

I love the sound of my watch alarm going off at 4am because I get to go back to sleep. I love the sound of a handsome man singing softly along with a radio or loudly on a karaoke stage. I love the sound of my friends laughing when they tell people to go around. I love the sound of a cork popping from a bottle of cheap red wine.

And even though it's an annoying sound, I really love the screeching of a light rail car going by.

I did a lot of research before buying my Subaru Sport, and one of the cars I compared against was the PT. They might be making the PT better nowadays, but back then, it wasn't even a competition.

Even got better gas mileage.

If I were to buy a car today, though? All-electric. Chevy's coming out with a really sweet one (whose name escapes me. Volt?)

As an FYI: PT Cruisers suck in unpleasant ways. Their gas mileage is horrible, they're uncomfortable to be in for more than 30 minutes, and they feel like a cheap plastic toy on the inside. I rented one for a weekend when my car was in the shop. I'm so glad that I found this out NOW because my husband wanted to buy one.

My ex has one and I didn't mind riding in it too much. But this is a fantasy question where cost doesn't really matter.

We bought a PT Cruiser a few month ago and I love it.
It's roomier than a normal car, a comfortable driver and great on mileages.
It's a fab car, and if we ever driver there to visit, or you come this way, we'll give you a ride.

You'd probably really like the Honda Fit. I know it is small, but you can fold the seats to make a bed for sleeping (sex) and you can also have a lot of head clearance in the back seat based on its design.

Saw your post about the back pain, too. I hope it's calmed down a bit. I don't really have any other advice other than a large dose of IB to help with swelling.
