Yeah no kidding. It seems like the construction just never ends. Would it really kill us to have like a 6 month moratorium on construction every once in awhile?

In the future leaf-blowers will be wind-powered, buildings will be constructed by setting down a suitcase that unfolds into a skyscraper, and bad parents will just magically be unable to conceive or adopt.

I'd say "move to Port Angeles" where there hasn't been any new construction in about ten years, but lately there's actually been a few new things going up. Wacky. This town's going through a growth spurt of... hm... five buildings?

That made me think of the crane that fell over at UNM and smashed the just finished Library addition.

That is one good side effect of living in a small town.. I see so much less construction!! It also means nothing ever changes here... Sometimes change is good.
