They are also really good at sticking their paw in your mouth just before you wake up so that you have this mouthful of fur and claws on your tongue.

My cat rubs his nose all over my mouth and nose and eyes to wake me up and that riles the dog up, so she dives under my pillow and attacks my fingers and if that doesn't work, she takes over face-slap duties. They have a diabolical system in place.

I would not ever put this past her. She also bounces like a gazelle across the house and as soon as she gets to my bedroom door she makes one last big leap and clears the 8' between the door and my head so she can land right on my pillow, flop over onto her back and kick the back of my head until I wake up.
